The impossible conveyance of dreams, a 2 minute and 30 second film.

The Soaring Twenties Symposium theme for this month is Dreams. Dreams are a hobby of mine. From reading about them in my favorite magazine, to dreaming them at night and interpreting them during the day. I’m a nightdreamer, not a daydreamer. It is my lot and plot. As is often the case, I come from a long line of oneiric women - it is rare to be a dreamer without other dreamers in your tree. From nightmares to sex dreams, I dream on the nightly and wake with a residue of the unreal. Elastic penises that wrap my body in a gelatinous vine, searching for the aching opening. Abandonment of love and the phone that never works. A dome of opacity where no sun ever shines. It is difficult and messy to write about experiences you are in the middle of, but even after years I have no distance from my dreams because I am always a night-dreamer.
